Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath, despite making an earth-shattering collections, has fell short of beating Salman Khan’s Bodyguard record at the Box Office. The movie, released on January 26, has missed out to rewrite the record to its name with a margin of Rs. 16 crore in the first weekend.

Agneepath has garnered approximately Rs. 69 crore in the first weekend. It raked in Rs. 23 crore, Rs. 12.75 crore. Rs. 15.85 crore and Rs. 17.5 crore on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. On the other end, Bodyguard had collected Rs. 85.5 crore in its first weekend.

Bodyguard had made a record breaking collections in five-day weekend. Whereas, Agneepath collected Rs. 69 crore in four-day weekend. However, the average four-day collections of Hrithik Roshan’s movie is better than Salman Khan’s film, as it stands at somewhere around Rs. 17.25 crore per day and the Dabangg actor’s movie averaging just above Rs.17 crore per day.
