The fans of Rajinikanth may not make peace with this fact, but still it should not stop us from announcing the supra superstardom (in the commercial realm) of Salman Khan or at least that of his films.
It was always on the cards that the ‘Bodyguard’ record would be comfortably surpassed by ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. However the speed at which it has happened for this Kabir Khan directed film is clearly mind boggling.
Even though the film has opened extraordinarily well, one waited to see how the film would perform after the euphoria settled down. However as has turned out to be the case, the film has sustained extremely well, and how.
This Salman Khan starrer has turned out to be the first film to record over 10 crores in each of its first eight days, something that hasn’t ever happened before.
The film has crossed the Rs. 200 cr mark without much difficulty since!
