★ 2012 To Hit 2011 Business Levels In Three Quarters!

There has been a good jump in business in 2012 as the business of the top 25 films in 2012 will be similar to 2011 in just three quarters as long as September puts up the expected numbers.
The combined nett business of the top 25 films in 2011 was around 1500 crore approx and in 2012 the top twenty five films have grossed 1375 crore.
We still have potential good earners Barfi! and Heroine to come in before the third quarter of 2012 is out so the combined total of 2012 should go close to 1500 crore or even surpass if the September releases outperform.
The last quarter of the year will see a a film each from Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh Khan and these three films alone will be expected to put up 400 crore combined on a worst case scenario making it possible for 30% year on year growth in business.
The 30% growth is what happens when its a good year and to see continued growth with business at high levels is a good sign for the future.
