She may call him the ‘A’ or in other words her trump card when it comes to her home prodcution Ishkq in Paris but, Preity Zinta clears the air about the reason behind Salman Khan’s presence in her film.
The pretty actress known for her zing, puts an end to all the gossips revolving around Salman being the obvious choice for the cameo role as he is the most bankable actor as far as box—office is concerned.
When being probed about whether it is the Salman- The King of 100 crore club, the factor behind her selection, she denies, “ That’s absolute rubbish. I signed Salman much before he even entered the 100 crore club.”
She goes on to add, “Salman was the requirement of the film and trust me, he perfectly fitted the film. I’m sure one and all will agree with me after watching the film. Salman is a dear friend and I’m glad he is a part of my first film as a producer.”
Still in a denial mode, Preity concludes, “Moreover, Salman is not a mere object to woo the cine-goers because at the end, promotions fall flat if script or film is not up to the mark.”
Point taken Ms. Zinta, all we can wish for is- both Salman and the magic of the strong script works wonders for the film.
