Seems like Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan is ready for his second innings in B-town. Fardeen who was in Bangalore recently, along with his sister Laila Khan Furniturewala spoke to TOI about his upcoming projects.
Buzz is that the actor, who wants to resuscitate his flagging career with Anees Bazmee’s No Entry sequel, is planning to revive his home banner. One of the first films to go on the floors would be the remake of Qurbani. “We just locked the script of Qurbani, and the announcements would be made early next year. At the moment, only Sanjay Dutt is on board for the role of Amjad Khan,” says Fardeen, who will be essaying his father’s role in the film.
The budding producer has zeroed in on two more scripts and is on the lookout for directors. Meanwhile, 2013 is looking to be a busy year for Fardeen. “No Entry sequel will go on the floors early March or April. The cast remains the same with Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan. What I can tell you at this point is that there will be nine heroines in the film,” he laughs.
