‘Dabangg 2’ is nearing it’s completion with just about a week’s shoot left. While Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan are confident about taking the legacy of ‘Dabangg’ forward, one wonders whether the texture provided by Abhinav Kashyap stays on with the film or is there something else being introduced as well.
“Every person who works brings his own stamp on it”, says Arbaaz, “Abhinav had his own touch to the film and I have my own which you would see in the film. Anyways, you cannot replicate anyone and there is no point doing that either.
Moreover you must see that at the end of it all, ‘Dabangg 2’ is an entirely new film instead of a remake.”
He continues, “As a matter of fact, even ‘Dabangg’ had actually reflected the kind of cinema that I wanted to project. If that was not the case, why would I have backed that script as a producer? I have brought in my sensibilities into ‘Dabangg 2’.”
With Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, Prakash Raj as the villain and Arbaaz Khan also featuring in it, ‘Dabangg 2’ has music by Sajid-Wajid and is all set for 21st December release.
