★ Yash Raj Films Starts Groundwork On Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger

With Yash Raj Films producing and Salman Khan featuring in it, this has got to be one of the biggest films of all time. The movie is due this Eid and Khan has had three big Eid hits in the last three years, Wanted, Dabangg and Bodyguard. It’s a hat-trick of blockbusters for Khan. So, will Ek Tha Tiger be his biggest hit to date?
With only a few months to go, the marketing honchos at Yash Raj have started working on their strategy to promote the film, which also features Katrina Kaif.
Yash Raj Films has summoned their distributors in each circuit to assess the business from Khan’s previous Eid outings (Wanted, Dabangg and Bodyguard). So the distributors are busy crunching numbers – the number of prints in their respective territories, first-day collections, weekend collections, and, of course, the number of shows and screens every day.
Yash Raj is also calculating the amount spent on the publicity of each of these movies and the strategies used to promote them. Needless to add, there were country-wide tours by Khan during the releases.
Obviously, Yash Raj Films is going all out to make Ek Tha Tiger the highest grosser of all time. Here’s wishing the company tons of luck!
